Give your helper a job
AI is a computer helper. It works better when you tell it what to do. Pick one small job. Say who the answer is for.
Tell it what you need
A prompt is the words you give the helper. Tell it the job, a few useful facts, and how you want the answer to look. You can ask for short sentences or a list.
Read and check
An AI answer may sound right and still be wrong. Check names, dates, and facts. Leave passwords and private records out of your prompt.
